John Fry, Workshop Manager (shown left) and store owner Guy Rowland are shown above in our fully stocked workshop
John joined us in August 2010 and is our mechanic, he has 16 years experience in the Cycle trade, 14 years as head Mechanic with ‘Dauphin Sport’ followed by another two years as head mechanic with ‘Pro’ cycling teams, firstly with ‘Team Men’s Heath’ followed by the ‘Linda McCartney Racing Team’ who went onto ride some of the grand tours back in the late 1990’s. John moved away from the area before the call of the trade bought him back to his first love and fortunately to us here at Corridori, like all the staff we have known one another as both friends and from a customers point of view by reputation for many years; we, like you will be, are very pleased he’s here..

We have a fully stocked workshop, our charges are as follows. Please scroll down to the bottom to see 'notes' that relate to all.

STANDARD SERVICE £45 plus parts
A comprehensive check on all parts. We adjust gears, brakes, true wheels and check that the bike is safe to ride with adjustments made as required, i.e. wheel bearings etc. All parts are inspected for wear or damage. All parts required although extra will be fitted with no additional labour charge. This will save you money by catching problems early on. We usually recommend a Full service once a year with an in-between standard service, especially if your bike is an ‘every day’ commuter. Please note we do not clean your bike as part of a service, plus we will not fix filthy bikes! Please bring your bike in clean to work on, if not, cleaning as necessary will be carried out and a £15.00 charge added

FULL SERVICE £95 plus parts
This really is a FULL service! We aim to get the cycle as close to new as possible. Your bike will be carefully but fully disassembled (not including suspension units) every part will be checked, cleaned and reassembled to perfection. Hubs and headsets are cleaned, bearings replaced (cartridge are extra) and re-greased with high quality grease. All parts required are fitted at no extra labour charge. This service makes a huge difference to the feel of your bike, as mentioned above, the bike should feel like new again!

The ‘Full Service’ is normally done once a year on a well used bike, expect extras that wear out, such as brake blocks, cables and perhaps transmission items like chain and cassette,.

SUSPENSION FORKS AND SUSPENSION UNITS from £89.99
Nearly all shock and fork work is carried out by companies that we work closely with. Fox units are sent to Mojo who are the UK’s only Authorized Fox distributor and Service Centre. Rock Shox and marzocchi etc are sent to TF Tuned (Tim Flooks as otherwise known) who have been servicing, upgrading and tuning suspension for many years.

Specialized forks are naturally serviced by Specialized, with who we have a superb working relationship. All Companies have been outstanding with turn-around times exceptional craftsmanship. When serviced, Units return to us looking and feeling like new with confident guarantees on all work, We are proud to deal with both Mojo and TF Tuned and thank them for their excellent service.

Prices vary depending on unit and work required but the typical service charge is £89.99 plus any parts and £10.00 carriage.

CYCLING PROFICIENCY CHECK £20.00 plus parts
This is not a service, purely a safety check and adjustments made as required to meet cycling proficiency standards (includes checking bell, reflectors etc) In most cases a standard service is recommended.

BIKE CLEANING - £15.00

Most people hate cleaning their bike! We are happy to do this for you. This involves removing mud, grease and oil as best as possible.
