Mail Order: Effectively our website is set up to showcase our actual store more than it is to promote a virtual one. Our focus is first and foremost as a local bike shop, so although you can order items through our site please be aware we don’t have staff sitting in front of a computer all day monitoring orders or emails. Our site will show all the items we can obtain if available which especially towards the end of the season they may not be; the items are are not linked to the actual stock we have instore.

As you may be aware we have recently relocated to our new much larger premises, before moving in we took the whole building back to a bare shell so that we had a blank canvas from which we could purpose build and design a brand new spacious cycle store to rival any. We have a large variety of items available, including an extensive range of Specialized bikes and accessories, Bianchi bikes and clothing, we are also a Van Nicholas test center, with a selection of the most popular models on show.

Tom Bradbury Mail order manager, web site developer and Bianchi Specialist
Tom has worked on and off in the cycle trade for the last eleven years, like manager Paul Smith he started at Pearson Cycles in Sutton, as well as working in cycle trade he was also a former Jun’ winner of the season long Tuesday night ‘Crystal Palace Circuit’ series, as well as a former Jun’ London Crit’ champion. Even when Tom had a career in the motor racing industry he would often help out part time, he enjoyed it so much that he decided come back full time to his first love, the result is that Tom is no longer our part time Saturday man, he’s here full time, replacing Chris Ansell (now teaching in Thailand) as our mail order manager, web site developer and Bianchi Specialist. Tom also has a family connection here at Corridori, his uncle Paul, is store manager.

John Fry
John Fry shown above is our workshop manager; a former Pro Team mechanic with 16 years experience
John joined us in August 2010 and is our mechanic, he has 16 years experience in the Cycle trade, 14 years as head Mechanic with 'Dauphin Sport' followed by another two years as head mechanic with ‘Pro’ cycling teams, firstly with ‘Team Men’s Heath’ followed by the ‘Linda McCartney Racing Team’ who went onto ride some of the grand tours back in the late 1990’s. John moved away from the area before the call of the trade bought him back to his first love and fortunately to us here at Corridori, like all the staff we have known one another as both friends and from a customers point of view by reputation for many years; we, like you will be, are very pleased he’s here. Mike Bowden
Mike Bowden shown above being interviewed at the Superenduro race series in Italy; mechanic.
Mike and workshop manager John were actually schoolmates, they both started working as mechanics in bike shops in the mid eighties but this is the first time the two school friends have worked together. Mike actually works full time for Citroėn, but he also helps us out during our busy summer months on a Saturday; making him our eldest Saturday boy; I mean man! Mike, like Dave Parsons is one of our MTB team and races both in the UK and Europe, his first event for us was the Superenduro Euro Cup fuelled by Monster Energy and second PRO race of the Italian Superenduro series, which was held on July 4th and 5th 2010 in Sauze d'Oulx, Italy, where Mike finished amongst the leaders in his first European event of the season. Mike Williams
Mike Willams shown above; now if anyone was destined to work in a bike shop….
Mike joined us in the summer of 2010 and is latest Saturday boy. Now if there was ever a person destined to work in a cycle shop it’s him, His uncle is none other than Ex Pro Tony Mills, who many of you may also know as the founder of Emperor Sport with Mick Coward in Manor Lane, Sutton (that later became Lind Cycles) and Church Hill Rd in Cheam; Tony then later went onto to form Dauphin Sport up at Boxhill; the very shop that our own John Fry worked at for many years before Tony retired. Jamie Abbott
Jamie Abbott shown above; Professional singer songer writer performer and Corridori Saturday boy
Jamie joined us in the summer of 2010 and helps us during the busy summer months. Although now a full time singer song writer performer he does find time to help us out during our busy months. Jamie also has 10 years experience in the cycle trade, often helping out between recording and touring in the UK, Europe and America where he has played prestigious venues such as the Rock Cafė. Although these days Jamie only rides for pleasure he does have a racing pedigree and was in his youth on the Schoolboy GB development squad and competed with success both here in the UK and Belgium. To find out more about Jamie and even hear samples and perhaps buy via 'Itunes' some of his songs please view his extensive website by clickiing on the following link: ”www.jamieabbott.co.uk” Carleton ‘Carly’ Hawgood, honorary Corridori employee
Carleton ‘Carly’ Hawgood Honorary Corridori employee
Carleton ‘Carly’ Hawgood joined August 2008, called an ‘Honorary Corridori employee’ as he is actually a customer! He just happens to be here more than the rest of us, as he doesn’t take a day off! He is here so often that if he sees something that needs doing he will crack on and do it, from odd jobs, serving customers, playing with Guy and Fletcher, working with Tom, Paul and Mike (who never play of course, we just work work work) not to mention making the tea, coffee and keeping us in cakes! In short he loves bikes and more importantly he loves us and we love him; except when he drags Guy off to play golf; which they then have the nerve to dress up as ‘Networking’!!!! Carly currently has an Sworks Roubaix (that he is selling now ”Click to view”) as well as a Van Nicholas Yukon, both of which are polished to perfection.PS If his boss and or wife are reading this then of course he’s never here…… Fletcher Rowland, head of security and squeaky toy department
Fletcher Rowland Head of security and squeaky toy department
Fletcher joined April 2010, previously he had been a puppy with nine weeks experience. Currently in charge of the squeaky toy department, skills include power naps, tinkles and looking like an all round cutey; all of which are part of the Corridori Staff day to day routine so he should fit in well, he is here most days, unlike the owner Guy, who like Fletcher is inclined to wander off and get lost; only to be found with the ladies in the shop next door flat on his back with his legs in the air having his tummy tickled.

Paul Smith
Paul Smith shown above, riding from ‘Bordeaux to Barcelona’ and ‘Channel to the Med'
Paul has twenty three years experience in specialist cycle retail and wholesale plus over thirty years as a club rider. Many may know Paul who worked for Pearson Cycles in Sutton for fifteen years as well as BikePlus (part of GB Cycles) in Croydon for where he worked for seven years. His experience includes setting up and relocating the CTC Mail order Shop that Paul was managing on a franchise basis from December 2001 to December 2004, for what was a three year contract with the CTC Organisation. Paul joined after we relocated to a much larger premises and like Guy is also a qualified ‘Specialized Body Geometry Bike Fit’ staff member. For the last eight years Paul has also been working closely with Jan-Willem Sintnicolaas, the owner and founder of Van Nicholas, the Titanium Bike Company specialising in the design of role-specific and tailor-made Titanium frames, and hand-built bikes.
